Based in Japan, DevSamurai, Inc. is a cloud-based SaaS company that delivers modern solutions to help businesses grow and innovate.
At DevSamurai, our QA team was hampered by inflexible test management tools. Existing apps couldn't accommodate both our fast-moving Agile squads, who needed speed and efficiency, and our teams requiring detailed, traditional test case management. This mismatch created friction and forced compromises.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So, we decided to build our own solution: a fast and flexible Jira-native test management tool designed for diverse testing strategies. Seeing its success internally, and its growing popularity as a Jira plugin, confirmed we had built something more than just an internal fix.
We realized the flexibility and efficiency we achieved is not only for us, but also caters to the broader testing community.
And so, LeanTest was born – created from necessity and a drive to build a better way for everyone.
